A simple yet elegant wedding unlike any other… Bridget and Dan get married surrounded by loved ones and lots of beer.
On 14th April 2011, Bridget and Dan (both PR consultants) got married in a simple, elegant wedding ceremony – surrounded by a handful of family, close friends and colleagues.
Despite the stormy (weatherwise) start to the day, the bridal party was quite upbeat and cheery – with the bride getting a tan, then polishing the groom’s tan leather shoes. The bride’s nephew, Declan, was also a real trooper – creating a whole series of photo opportunities all on his own.
The actual wedding ceremony went smoothly (and rather quickly) followed by a chilled-out reception and dinner at the RedDot BrewHouse.
Dan gave one of the most heartfelt, funny and touching speeches, and everyone sang happy birthday to Gary (the bride’s dad) – whose birthday it was that day. As the freshly-brewed beer flowed through the night, you could see the guests enjoying a very special Thursday evening in honour of Bridget and Dan.
Here are some of the highlights from their lovely wedding:
The last two photos are of Declan (who was playing on mom, Meg’s iPhone – with a mouth covered in chocolate), who saw me take his photo, then proceed to jump on my back and wrestle me to the ground. He’s such a cool kid that I didn’t even mind having chocolate wiped all over my clothes! All I can say is that I’m glad I was in standard photographers’-black attire!
As you can probably tell from the photos, Bridget and Dan will having something else to celebrate really soon!
Congratulations all round to the awesome couple!
