Aurélie’s Maternity Photo Shoot
When I photographed Laurence & Arjen’s wedding a couple of months back, there were two beautiful bridesmaids that were rather on the pregnant side – see photo below.
After the wedding, Aurélie (left) got in touch with me to shoot her maternity photos.
Both her and her husband Alex have been really industrious, the nursery is almost complete, baby clothes have been planned and they’ve already thought about schools for the little tyke!
A maternity shoot is always a very personal thing, and I am chuffed that they invited me to capture it…
So here are a sample of the best images that we made that day.
I’m so thrilled for both of them… and can’t wait to meet the new addition to their family!

These turned out great! I love the one’s by the window.
Nice shots. The couple looked very comfortable before the camera.
Were reflectors used in the shots with the green back ground ?
Hi Ben, thanks for the compliment. The couple were pretty awesome to work with, and soon to have their baby too.
For the shots against the green patterned background, for some of the shots used a softbox for some very soft fill lighting. The room was small and white, so there was some fill there to begin.
